Rooted in Love is more than a dinner. It’s a sacred gathering of people who care deeply about children and families impacted by foster care. It’s a space where stories are honored, hope is restored, and lives are tangibly changed through a community that chooses to show up.
This year, we are incredibly honored to welcome our keynote speaker, Whitney Lam Gilliard, a former youth in foster care who has walked this journey firsthand. Whitney will share her powerful story of resilience, healing, and purpose, and how she went on to become the founder and CEO of Gilliard & Company, a nonprofit devoted to ending foster care homelessness and equipping youth with the tools they need to step confidently into independence. Her story is not just one of survival, it’s one of transformation. And it is a beautiful reminder of what can happen when someone is rooted in love.
As you sit at the table that night, you won’t just be attending an event, you’ll be part of something eternal. Every seat filled, every bid placed, every dollar given helps provide real, tangible support to foster families and children right here in our community.
