Some moments stay with you long after the day is over.
On June 12, Love One Ministry had the privilege of helping sponsor and serve at the Georgia Kids Belong Photo Shoot at Grayson Stadium. Alongside Georgia Kids Belong, Bananas Foster, generous community partners, photographers, and volunteers, we helped create a day centered around one simple but powerful message:
Every child deserves to be seen.
Twenty children in foster care participated in this special event, each one carrying their own story, their own personality, their own hopes for the future.
The photographs captured smiles, laughter, confidence, and joy. But what happened beyond the camera lens was equally meaningful.
Throughout the day, children had opportunities to play, connect, laugh, and simply enjoy being kids. Volunteers offered encouragement. New friendships were formed. Therapy dogs brought comfort and calm. Smoothies brought excitement and smiles. For a few hours, the focus wasn’t on case files, court dates, uncertainty, or waiting…it was on celebrating each child for exactly who they are.
Events like these matter because every child deserves more than a profile or a photograph. They deserve to be known. They deserve to be valued. They deserve to be reminded that their story matters and that there are people advocating for them every step of the way.
We are deeply grateful to the many people who made the day possible Georgia Kids Belong did an outstanding job planning and running this event.

Thank you for serving as buddies throughout the day. Waiting for a forever family can bring a complicated mix of emotions: hope, excitement, fear, uncertainty, and longing. Your presence helped provide encouragement, comfort, and support when it mattered most.
Friends, if you see photos and videos from this event shared on social media, please consider sharing them with your own networks. Every share helps increase visibility and awareness for children who are waiting to be connected with loving families.
Most importantly, we ask you to pray.
Pray for each child represented in this project. Pray for healing where there has been hurt. Pray for hope during seasons of waiting. Pray for wisdom for caseworkers, foster families, and advocates. And pray that every child will find a forever family where they are deeply loved, fully known, and forever cherished.
