Let’s get ready for the HOPE for the Journey Conference!! This Trust-Based Relational Intervention conference is on 4/29 and 4/30 and is geared to help teachers, adoptive & foster parents, and counselors work through trauma with kids. This conference was formerly called Empowered to Connect. If you have attended one of these conferences before, the material is different every year. This conference focuses on how to build trust with children with trauma, how to have a better connection with kids through play and learn how to correct and empower them. 7 Foster Care Hours will be given to participants who attend both days. We have virtual tickets if these dates do not work for you or if you need childcare. Virtual attendees will be able to view the conference until May 30th with the virtual option. For people who attend the in-person simulcast, we will provide snacks, drinks, and dinner on Friday night and snacks, drinks, and lunch on Saturday. This is a great way to meet families who are walking a similar journey with Foster Care or Adoption. You can never have too many good people in your tribe!
